Yuxi's research focuses on identifying the specific spinal cord-projecting paraventricular hypothalamic neurons that regulate blood pressure and mapping their afferent inputs. Using transcriptomics, optogenetics, and circuit tracing, her research aims to identify the neural targets that regulate energy homeostasis.

Outside Interests:

Yuxi enjoys painting, reading books, spending time outdoors with her puppy, and hanging out with friends and family.
