Yaroslav's research focuses on the mechanisms of descending pain regulation and also the role of presynaptic modulation in this phenomenon.

Outside Interests:

Yaroslav enjoys traveling, including road trips and hiking. He is engaged in landscape and astrophotography. When he has some spare time, he also enjoys cycling, rock climbing, and ice skating.
