Research Interests:

Rachel's research focus is on early stages of dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). She is looking at the chemokine CCL5 and how it is involved in macrophage recruitment in early vascular damage in this disease.

Outside Interests:

Rachel enjoys working out, reading, and going to music festivals/concerts. When the weather is nice, she likes to go for walks and hikes or just sit outside whenever possible!
